Polarwind has grown up as a result of:
- Thousands of miles spent sailing to the of the world,
- An ongoing fascination for the wilderness of Fireland and the Patagonia region,
- Appreciation of the beauty of the glacier and the uniqueness of the Antarctic
- A need to share this appreciation and these experiences with like-minded people.
It is the closeness to the people of Patagonia and Fireland and the years spent experiencing life at the end of the world that gives Polarwind its deep sense of union with nature and with the local people.
